Michael Jackson - The Solo Years: 30th Anniversary Celebration (2001)

Como dijera Johnny Depp en la pelicula Blow, "Mi ambicion fue mayor que mi talento" y este fue el detonante, es por eso que en memoria de el, subo este disco, que fue cuando celebro los 30 años de trayectoria artistica en el Madison Square Garden, donde estuvieron sus mas cercanos (Los Jacksons 5, Liz Taylor, Macauly Culkin, Liza Minelli) hasta sus admiradores y colegas musicales (N´Sync, Destiny´s Child, Usher, Britney Spears, Shaggy, Jill Scott, Dionne Warwick, Missy Elliot, Marc Anthony, Luther Vandross, entre otros.).

Fueron dos conciertos que se transmitieron por la CBS, en un especial que constó de dos horas como tributo al rey del pop, los tickets se agotaron en 5 horas y como es costumbre de Michael, batio record en la entrada mas cara de la historia, la mas cara costaba 5.000 dolares y tenian derecho a una cena con Michael y un poster firmado por el, postshow, la mas barata costó 1.600 dolares y solo tenia derecho a una cena, Michael ganó 7.5 millones de dolares por ambos conciertos.
